Glasgow City Council has created a new heritage banner trail of images and photos to celebrate the historic buildings and famous people of the High Street, Saltmarket and the Trongate in Glasgow.
42 banners have been placed on lampposts near to many historic sites and events and feature well-known Glasgow people, landmarks and events such as Glasgow Cathedral, Provands Lordship, St Mungo and the Glasgow Fair.
We’re very pleased that the Trail includes two banners on the Britannia Panopticon just opposite the building on the Trongate.
