In October 2022, the Trust commissioned a new Feasibility Study to explore options and costings for the restoration and potential usages of the Panopticon. This work has been made possible by support from Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF), Pilgrim Trust, Glasgow Dean of Guilds and the Ian Fleming Charitable Trust, as well as from other organisations and individuals. Project-managed by our colleagues at Glasgow Building Preservation Trust, the design study was undertaken by Hoskins Architects, while work on the accompanying
strategic business case was carried out by Community Enterprise.
The Feasibility Study was completed in March 2024, and a Summary Report prepared by Hamilton Hay Van Jonker can be read below.
