We’re delighted to announce that Scottish television presenter and international celebrity Ross King is publicly supporting the Panopticon Trust’s campaign to raise funds to purchase and restore the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall and secure its future.
“As a proud Glaswegian now living in Los Angeles I support the Trustees of the Panopticon Trust which aims to purchase and restore Glasgow’s Oldest Music Hall Theatre for the people of Glasgow by re-inventing it as a vibrant community hub and popular entertainments venue for the 21st Century.
The history of this wonderful place is truly amazing and it deserves its place in the world of Show Business not only in Glasgow but across the globe.
The importance of this building is immense and to have it restored for future generations to see it and perform in it will continue to show the world that we have a truly iconic theatre in Glasgow. Wishing everyone success with this venture.“
